Cannibal Corpse Graphic Novel

Cannibal Corpse released details on their MySpace about their upcoming graphic novel:

Death-metal icons CANNIBAL CORPSE are issuing a limited-edition 96 page comic book exclusively at the Hot Topic booth on this summer’s Rockstar Mayhem Festival tour. Drawn entirely by Vince Locke, who illustrated the acclaimed graphic novel ‘A History of Violence’ and each of the band’s album covers, the Evisceration Plague comic graphically depicts a story for every song on the band’s album of the same name—arranged in order, no less. As an added bonus, each copy comes with a copy of the album……. ..“Vince Locke has done an incredible job turning our lyrics into blood-soaked and vicious illustrations for the Evisceration Plague comic book. Parkway Drive – The DVD

Parkway Drive have given a quick update on their upcoming DVD on their MySpace:

“THE DVD” is a documentary featuring archival footage from the bands very first show to storming stages all over the world.

Packed with over an hour of live and behind the scenes footage, it also features interviews and a live set shot at Sydney’s Roundhouse.

Thrice Album Details

Thrice have announced details and a tracklisting for their upcoming album “Beggars” on their MySpace:

We’re pleased to announce that Thrice will be releasing their upcoming album Beggars on October 13. If you can’t wait to get a listen to the album, next Tuesday (7/23) you’ll be able to download a new track “All The World Is Mad” for Guitar Hero as part of the Vagrant Pack on Xbox, Playstation and Wii. The band has also jumped on the final California dates of Warped Tour where they are sure to perform some tracks off of Beggars so if you weren’t already planning to go, make plans now. Throwdown Post Album Update

Throwdown have posted an update on their upcoming album “Deathless” on their MySpace:

K, we’ve got some rough Deathless tracks in our hands…

…and I’m sorry that I can’t play them for you yet cus holy SHIT am I stoked on these songs.  If you follow us on Twitter, you probably read that shameless self-promotion isn’t really my strong point, but I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of this album and it isn’t even MIXED yet. At the risk of sounding parental, I can’t begin to express how proud I am of Mark for the songs he wrote for Deathless.  Mind blowing how some of them came together when all was said and done.

Thanks to the insanely flattering initial review from our close friends that we’ve played these songs for including Mental, Kirk and our friends in Demon Hunter / Invisible Creature Studios. Seriously left me speechless! Can’t wait for Ryan to start working on this album art…wouldn’t be a Throwdown record without him packaging it! If things come together for the concept we’ve been talking about, you guys are in for something special.  Don’t wanna jinx anything, though!!
