Abigail Williams Detail New Album “The Accuser”

Abigail Williams have announced their new album “The Accuser” will be released on October 30 through Candelight Records.

A guest appearance from Neill Jameson (Krieg, Twilight) will appear on the album, with cover art done by Stevie Floyd.

“It took three years to make this because I’m an indecisive bastard and I didn’t want to make the same record again. It felt unnatural to try and reproduce what I did on Becoming, which, up to that point I felt was our strongest album. So once again we are covering new ground with this release. The songs are the most personal to date with the themes mostly being about living shitty, addictions, sex, loss and failure all through the eyes of a nihilistic occultist shithead.”

The video below is the first in a series, and focuses on the tracks “Planet A” and “Alien”.

After years in the making, Converge have announced they will be releasing their new Blu-Ray/DVD “Thousands Of Miles Between Us” on November 27 through Deathwish Inc.

Dead Letter Circus Added To Soundwave Festival 2016

Dead Letter Circus are the second confirmed band for next years Soundwave Festival.

“There are no words to describe how psyched we are to be a part of Soundwave Festival 2016! We’ve loved this festival and what it represents to the Heavy Rock community in Australia since it began. Huge thanks to the SW team from DLC and we can’t wait to rock the stage with some of our favourite bands in the world next January! “

The band have also released a new video for their track “In Plain Sight”.

“‘In Plain Sight‘ was inspired by the loop you can so easily slip into but find so hard to escape from following rejection. One mistake we made when filming this clip was choosing to do all the water scenes after midnight in the middle of winter. I was the coldest I have ever been in my life as they drenched me for a couple of hours. Ended up having to cancel three shows that week due to being sick. I’d do it all again in a heartbeat though.”

New Deftones Album Coming On November 20

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has recently revealed in an interview that the bands eighth studio album is tentatively set for release on November 20.

“I think October or November now, probably November, as of today we are rushing to get our thank you’s our credits and all that stuff turned in. Once the music turned in which should be hopefully in the next couple of weeks there is still some mixing and mastering to be done. But the recordings all done the songs are all there, they are awesome we’re excited about it. We’re just dealing with the stuff now, putting all the artwork and everything together. And then a few months for them—the powers that be—to prepare it to be released.”

“You know what they told me, I think it’s the [November] 20th. Don’t quote me on that though.”
