The band have also released the first single from the album “Chlorine And Wine” which can be found in the below animated video.
Check out the track listing, cover art and comments from band frontman/guitarist John Baizley below:
“After releasing a lengthy and investigative record like Yellow & Green we all felt that we needed to make something much more direct and immediate. We wanted to write with our normal focus on artistry, balanced against an increased level of energy and focus. It was important for us to write our new songs with the type of enthusiasm and expressiveness that could act as a counterpoint to the album’s dark themes.
As a result, the music came out in an intense, heavy and sonically captivating in a new way, which was important, loathe, as we are to fall into any kind of complacency pitfall or formulaic songwriting routine. Purple is the most fully realized representation of our intention as a band; considering the amount of physical and mental energy spent writing it, we have accomplished something which would have seemed impossible to us a couple of years ago.”

Alternative rockers Failure are the third band to be announced for the 2016 edition of Soundwave Festival.
“There are some bands out there that no matter how great their music is, they never quite get the recognition they deserve and ultimately fade into obscurity.
Probably the most extreme example of this is a once little known alternative rock band from Los Angeles called FAILURE. You probably have heard their name in the past 2 years more than you ever did before, and you are probably wondering what all the fuss is about.
Over the years, FAILURE has become known as a “band’s band” whose songs have been covered by such diverse artists as A Perfect Circle and Paramore.”
