Bring Me The Horizon‘s vocalist Oli Sykes has commented on their upcoming album due out in August:
“2009 was one hell of a year, non-stop for us really! Our second album Suicide Season has taken us further than we ever thought was possible. I think we found our unique sound with that album and the next is going to be using Suicide Season as a base, but pushing it further in every single way imaginable. It’s happening with Fredrick Nordström again, since he made us sound so amazing last time – all very exciting, stay tuned!”
Guitarist Jona Weinhofen has also updated with the following:
“We’ve spent the last few months writing new material for the 3rd album and we are stoked as hell on what we’ve penned! This will also be my first recording with the band and I’m definitely excited to be working on something new and so different to my previous works.
We’ve taken in a broad array of influences during the writing period and I think it will show on this album more than ever before. Fans can expect new ideas, experimentation and more adventurous production. We’ve really focused on our song structures and keeping the songs catchy and listenable. But don’t freak out! It’s still the BMTH you know and love, and there will be plenty of heavy, fast riffing and plenty of breakdowns to keep your fists pounding and your heads banging!”

Bury Your Dead have debuted their new music video for their track “Without You” via the Zune Marketplace and Xbox Live Marketplace. The band shot the clip this past December with director Jordan Olds (Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, Greeley Estates).
Bring Me The Horizon have officially begun recording their new album at Studio Fredman with producer Fredrik Nordstom (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames). Despite being in the initial stages of the tracking process, the band have already mapped out plans to film videos for two new tracks from the release next month in Copenhagen, Denmark with director Jakob Printzlau (Turboweekend, Kashmir). More details are expected as things progress.
Bring Me The Horizon’s new album is set to be released later this year and will be preceded by a deluxe 2xCD/1xDVD edition of their latest outing “Suicide Season” on April 13th via Epitaph.
Parkway Drive have announced plans to return to the studio to record their third studio album, which is expected to be released sometime in the Winter months via Epitaph Records. The album was written in the band’s hometown of Byron Bay over the past six months and will be recorded over the coming weeks.
Epitaph Records have posted a media release on their website, view some highlights and quotes from the band below:
Determined to surpass previous efforts, Parkway Drive have gone all out in creating a complete listening experience. While maintaining the band’s trademark sound at its core, their forthcoming album will weave music, lyrics and artwork together into a dense concept that flows from beginning to end.
“Writing with a concept in mind has given us more direction,” explains Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall. “Every song on this album was created with a definite purpose, as opposed to just writing a riff and building on that.”
While McCall concedes the album’s basic narrative – the tale of a man lacking direction in life who goes looking for answers at the bottom of the sea – is “kind of bizarre,” he says the concept was flexible enough to open itself up to many far-reaching ideas.
“The ocean is where I find the most clarity,” says the former bodyboard champion. “To go to the beach and sink into the water, the sound cuts out and you can just forget about everything. So I guess the concept is about cutting out everything and focusing on what’s inside yourself.”
“This is the heaviest thing we’ve written, and at the same time the catchiest,” McCall warns. “And while we always want to keep the definitive Parkway Drive sound, there are a couple of things that will hopefully add another dimension to what we do.”

Deez Nuts have signed to Roadrunner Records Australia for their new album release due out May 2010, read the statement from Roadrunner below:
Deez Nuts is the brain child of JJ Peters, a man that needs no introduction however, if you’ve been in a coma for the past few years here’s the 411. He is a founding member of Australian hardcore/metal crew I Killed the Prom Queen who are arguably one Australia’s premiere hardcore/metal exports selling bucket loads of albums and conquering overseas markets before calling an indefinite hiatus in 2007. JJ then launched his blue collar hardcore outfit Deez Nuts releasing the debut EP “Rep Your Hood” in 2007 and debut full length “Stay True” in 2008 which has established Deez Nuts as one of the biggest AU bands of the heavy ilk. JJ also appeared as a guest vocalist on the latest Bring Me The Horizon release adding further international acclaim. With several national and overseas tours already racked up Deez Nuts are primed to bring their Friday night hardcore party anthems to a wider audience. The as yet untitled new album will be produced by JJ Peters and Roman Koester of The Red Shore @ Complex Studios and is scheduled for release May 2010 on Roadrunner Records.
