Melbourne’s Confession have announced a run of shows for this October / November. Having recently completed a national run with The Amity Affliction, in the coming months they will get back to their roots on the “Keeping It Bogan” tour – with all members growing up in regional towns, the tour will visit various cities and towns away from the hussle and bussle of the big smoke. Joining them will be Sydney bands Hand Of Mercy and Sienna Skies with Sydney’s Relentless playing the Perth dates. As announced last week, this December, Confession will also be touring on the No Sleep Til Festival. Tix for that one are on sale next Thursday at midday, tickets for these shows on sale next Wednesday.

Canada’s Alexisonfire will be releasing a new digital-only release via iTunes this month. The record is titled iTunes Originals and is due out September 28, 2010. The session encompasses interview clips of the band members reflecting on their career and revealing the inspirations behind their songs, along with album tracks and new live versions of some of their most well known songs. Alexisonfire recorded their iTunes Originals session in April 2010 and performed six tracks live in the studio specifically for this release. The interview segments are only available by purchasing the complete release.

Touring Australia this September / October as part of Parkway Drive‘s Deep Blue Tour, Los Angeles outfit The Ghost Inside will be playing two of their own headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne. On Tuesday September 28th they play The Sando in Newtown with Relentless and Hand Of Mercy. On Thursday September 30th they play Next in Melbourne with Lovers Grave and Feed Her To The Sharks.
