Scar The Martyr, which features members from Slipknot, ex-Darkest Hour and ex-Strapping Young Lad, have released their new track “Blood Host”. The bands self titled début album is set for release on October 01. Check out the track below and what drummer Joey Jordison had to say.
“It’s very coincidental that ‘Blood Host’ is our first track and video because it was the first song I wrote for this project when it was nothing but a mere idea at best. Songs, of course, followed, and molded into an overall feel, concept, and now a full-length album. ‘Blood Host’ has it all: hypnotic riffs, soaring choruses, pummeling breakdowns, and the lyrics are infectious in every sense. We are very proud of the track and it pretty much lets you know where we are coming from, musically, and what we are all about live. Scar the Martyr, up close and personal.”
Bring Me The Horizon have released a new video for the track “Go To Hell, For Heaven’s Sake”. The song is taken from the bands latest release “Sempiternal”.

Miss May I will enter the studio on August 14 to begin the recording process for their new album. Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones) will handle production for the effort which is expected to be released next year.
Band bassist Ryan Neff said of the coming time in the studio:
“Miss May I has been a wild ride for all of us since the beginning. From starting out in a basement in a small Ohio town, listening to our favorite bands, and just trying to play shows, all the way up to now, about to record our fourth full length album. As a long time fan, I am ecstatic to announce that we will be working with Terry Date on our next record. Growing up jamming Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera, it’s a dream come true to be working with the man who helped capture some of their greatest work. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, we have Colin Richardson in to mix the record who is also a legend in the metal world. So you can all expect some heavy riffage coming your way next year!”.
