Throwdown have released details regarding their upcoming album “Intolerance”. The album has been set for a Januray 21 release date with the track listing found below along with a statement from band front man Dave Peters:
“Completing this record felt great in so many respects, most important of which was the opportunity to finally give long time supporters of the band this music that I’ve had swirling around in my head over the past four years.
The variety of people from different places and scenes, who have found the band through vastly different avenues over the past 15 or so years, will each get into it for their own unique reasons I think.
And for those who think it’s junk, it’s only about 28 minutes they have to regret.”

Stick to Your Guns have released a new video for the track “The Bond”. The songs features on the bands most recent release “Diamond”.
Alexisonfire have released details regarding their limited edition vinyl box set which features pressings of the bands entire back catalogue. The set will be availalle from 12:01am on December 25. Details for the box set can be found below and at this location.
“Over a year in the making, the custom-designed box set includes audiophile re-pressings of each Alexisonfire studio release, coveted long out-of-print albums and never before pressed titles. The entire set has been pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl, almost entirely mastered at 45rpm. The collection includes a never before heard remaster, by Nick Blagona at Jukasa Studios, of the debut album Alexisonfire and two bonus tracks recorded during the Death Letter session. To accommodate the double vinyl pressings, the original artwork has been redesigned in gatefold format. The box set will also feature other exclusive extras including a slipmat and 45 adapter with a trademark heartskull and a photo booklet curated by photographer Dustin Rabin containing photos from the band’s final shows in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario in December, 2012. Special custom shipping packaging has been designed to protect the box set contents. A digital download link, that includes high quality MP3s, will be delivered with purchase.”

Exhumed have released a new track titled “Gravewalker”. The track will be included on the bands upcoming split with Iron Reagan which is set for a January 07 release.
Cannibal Corpse have revealed they will be heading back to the studio to record their new album early 2014. The bands Alex Webster has had the following to say:
“…What I can say, is that in February and March and then into early April we will be recording. We are going to go into Audio Hammer Studios and have Mark Lewisproduce us. We really like a lot of stuff he’s done. We did three great records with my good friend Erik Rutan, he’s one of the best. We felt like, ‘man, we’ve done three awesome records with him, let’s try doing something different.’ Not because we are displeased with what he’s done – he did a fantastic job – but we just felt like mixing it up. We’ve been working with Erik since 2005. We thought, ‘that’s a good eight years, let’s give Mark a try for a little while and see how that goes. He’s killer.”
Watain have released their first ever video which is for the track “Outlaw”. The song comes from the bands recently released “The Wild Hunt”. The band posted the following statement regarding the video:
“The ‘Outlaw‘ video is a knife stab in the face of today’s clean and witty metal scene and yet another step for us to bring back something real and extreme into this limping music movement.”
The Amity Affliction will be teaming up with Wish For Wings, The Daylight Curse and In Ashes We Lie for an 18+ benefit show for Kill The Music in Brisbane on Sunday December 22. Tickets available through www.oztix.com.au
Whitechapel have released a new video showing behind the scenes footage of the recording of their upcoming album.
Behemoth have released their new video for the track “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel”. The track is the first release from the bands upcoming album “The Satanist” which is set for release on February 04. Frontman Nergal had the following to say regarding the clip:
“Yes, we took all the time in the world to complete this project. And we did everything that was humanely possible to accurately express our vision. We crossed the Rubicon. “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel” is an ecstatic manifest of our unrestrained artistic will, where we dare to reach out beyond the limitations of the heavy metal genre.
