All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert has confirmed that the band have begun the writing process for their next release and hope to be in the studio soon.
Opeth‘s new album “Pale Communion” has been delayed for release until August 26. The bands single “Cusp Of Eternity” is set to be released on June 03 with another track released on July 15.
Band vocalist/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt has had the following to say:
“Many of you have heard the rumours already and we can now confirm that the release of ‘Pale Communion‘ has indeed been pushed back to late August. Several circumstances prevented the band from delivering essential tools to Roadrunner in time which are needed to set up the album release properly and release schedule conflicts made us mutually decide on August instead of June.”
Struc/tures have released a new track titled “Follower” which features guest vocals from Northlane‘s Adrian Fitipaldes. The song comes from the bands upcoming album “Life Through A Window” which will be released on May 13.
Anberlin have revealed details regarding their final album “Lowborn” which will be released on June 20. The cover art for the album can be seen below which is the first of many versions that will be available. Pre orders for the album will become available next week.
Miss May I have issued another statement regarding the death of the young male who passed away at one of their recent shows.
“Hey everyone, apologies for the radio silence these last couple of days. After what happened we’ve all taken some time to reflect but we had to speak up today to give our heartfelt thanks.
First and foremost, to those who’ve reached out to offer their sympathies or who’ve kept Alberto and his family in their thoughts and prayers. In particular to all those who donated to his family; after only a few days they have almost reached their fundraising goal. If you can spare any amount, no matter how small, it will be greatly appreciated. You can do so here www.gofundme.com/8vjoqc
We’re also looking into an auction. Something unique from the band will be listed online in the coming weeks; with the proceeds to go to Alberto’s family also. More news on that very soon.
Lastly, we just got the news today that Rise Of The Lion charted at number 21 in the Billboard Chart. We couldn’t be more appreciative for each and every one of you who made this happen for us. Every track on the new record was written with our fans in mind and, after the events this week, it’s been an extremely emotional few days.
With that in mind, we’d like to dedicate this to the memory of Alberto

Decapitatedhave released an update while in the studio recording their new album:
“We are now at the stage of tracking the vocals and the guitars. It looks like recording the new Decapitated album has so far proved extremely demanding. Never before had we faced a challenge as testing as the new songs turned out to be. We cross-breed various styles, sounds and every day we put the crossbar higher and higher.
Slowly but surely everything starts to come along and we can clearly feel something hugely exciting is emerging. Surely it is going to be the new level for Decapitated and as usually, as with each subsequent album, both music and sound will be somewhat different.
I’ve been using my new custom-made Ibanez Iceman guitar during this session and EVH amps and cabs. The sound is original, powerful and crushing. We flirt with various tempos mixing death metal with grindcore and almost outright black metal atmosphere together with more, so to speak, ‘crowd-puller’ beats verging on groovy, almost stoner-rock climates.
There are also a few more modern metal rhythmic riffs where we return to the climate of “Organic Hallucinosis” album. I’m certain that the very fact we are again, after 9 years, in Hertz studio will evoke the spirit of that album. The vocals sound very promising. Rasta is a much more experienced vocalist compared to the “Carnival Is Forever” album times. And his voice sounds more powerful and deeper. There’s still a lot of work ahead of us so I gotta go now.
Take it easy and see ya”
Sevendust have revealed plans to record both a heavy and acoustic set for an upcoming live DVD. The acoustic side of the set will be filmed during the June 08 Sayreville, NJ stop of the bands current acoustic tour. The heavier set is expected to be filmed at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, NY sometime prior to the end of August.
Band drummer Morgan Rose mentioned the following in an interview:
“Nobody knows this but I’m going to start telling everybody now, but we’re going to do a two-DVD set with an acoustic show and a heavy show and we’re bringing out massive production for the heavy show and we’re going to do it in New York and we’re going to do it at Hammerstein and it’s going to be free and we’re going to destroy that place.”
“We’re going to bring out so much production, it might be the only time you ever see us like that. I mean, we’re blowing shit up. We’re going to blow stuff up, we’re going to have fire, we’re going to have dragons. We’re going all the way. And I’m not kidding. I talked to the people last night and they’re, like, ‘Listen, you have to have fire.’ They’re, like, ‘I love your band, your band is underrated, you’ve never been able to play with fire and bombs, we’re playing with fire and bombs. We’re going to let people see what Sevendust would look like if they had everybody else’s money.’ So I was, like, ‘Yeah, I like that.’”
The Ocean have released a live video of the band performing the track “The City And The Sea” at the Hidden Agenda in Hong Kong. The footage is included on the bands recently released 3xDVD “Collective Oblivion”.
Wretched have released a new track titled “Cranial Infestation”. The song comes from the bands recently announced new album “Cannibal” which will be released on June 10.
Rise Against have released a short teaser video for their upcoming album. No release details have been confirmed.
