Soundwave Festival Reveals First Official Act

Soundwave Festival has revealed that Coldrain (Japan) will be coming to Australia next year for the annual run of shows. The band is the first official act to be announced on the bill.

The bands upcoming album “Revelation”, due for release on August 08, can be pre ordered from this location.

As previously announced, the 2015 leg of Soundwave Festival will be held over two days in all cities.

Saturday 28 + Sunday 29 February – Olympic Park, Sydney

Darkest Hour Release New Video

Darkest Hour have released a new video for the track “The Misery We Make”. The song comes from the bands upcoming self titled album due for release tomorrow.

Nightwish Sign With Nuclear Blast

Nightwish have revealed they have inked a new deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The band were helped by Monte Connor who helped the band sign to Roadrunner Records in the past. Connor had the following to say:

“It was a pleasure to work with Nightwish at my former label, but now in my new capacity at NBE, I will be more directly involved with the band than ever before. I would like to thank Nightwish and their management for their continued faith in and loyalty to me. I am particularly excited at the prospect of hearing Floor Jansen’s debut studio recording with the band. Her performance on last year’s live release Showtime, Storytime completely blew me away and proved why she is the PERFECT singer for Nightwish.”

Confession’s ‘Life And Death’ Australian Tour

Confession have announced they will be heading out across Australia this October in support of their new album “Life And Death”. The band will be joined by Prepared Like A Bride and Graves.

Rob Zombie has launched a new crowd funded campaign over at this location for his upcoming film “31”.

“…The story of five random people kidnapped on the five days leading up to Halloween and held hostage in a place called Murder World. While trapped inside this man-made hell, they must fight to survive playing the most violent game known to man… a game called 31. 31 has no rules. 31 has no boundaries. It is ever so simple.
