Sierra have released details regarding their upcoming five track EP titled “Reality Redefined” which will be released on September 05.
Vocalist Brett Kennedy has had the following to say:
What you’ll get from ‘REALITY REDEFINED’ is five individual tracks, each with their own personality, but still with common threads that bind the record together.”
“The recording process was unlike any other we have undertaken – there was a real sense of open-mindedness from everyone – and a desire to keep a true sound in the studio with little manipulation.”
“Ultimately I think that enabled us to experiment and add layers to our sound, while maturing through the song-writing process.”
“As time and life progresses, things change and so does our perception of what is happening and what is important. This record is a diary of personal, societal and global change and the impacts they’ve had on me these past couple of years. I’m not trying to inspire drastic change in masses, but rather encourage thought and reflection while keeping much of what is written open to interpretation.”On a less serious note, we believe we’ve progressed our sound and musicianship with ‘REALITY REDEFINED’, and it should translate well in a live setting.”
“Even before we wrote the first piece of this EP, we wanted to again offer a free download like our 2013 release. We’re in no position to allow our potential to be impacted by money; therefore we will make it simple for fans old and new to access our music. The payoff for us comes in the response at live shows, and we can only hope this EP will exceed its predecessor in all facets.”
