Emmure guitarist Mikael Mulholland has announced the band have entered the studio to begin recording the bands upcoming album. No further details have been announced.
“Detroit-bound to start this new record. Can’t imagine a better place to do an album this pissed than the coldest, hardest city in America.”
Chelsea Grin have announced their upcoming album to be titled “Ashes To Ashes” which is set for release in June. Band front man Alex Koehler had the following to say:
“The lyrical content will be a lot more positive than our other records. It’s more about standing up for yourself and not giving a fuck about anyone else’s opinions. Every song is going to be based on real life: alcoholism, drug abuse, violence and the everyday bullshit forced down our throats.”
Dream On, Dreamer have announced they will be taking some time in the near future to begin the writing process for their next release.
Vision Of Disorder have announced they are planning to release two albums on 2014. The band posted the following to their Facebook:
Nonpoint have released an update on the bands progress with their upcoming release:
“Update. We are writing a new album. Really blown away with what we have done so far. If you liked the last album then you will dig this new stuff. From what i can hear we are digging deeper into our influences. Really exciting.”
Like Moths To Flames have withdrawn themselves from the Boys Of Summer tour which is to begin on January 08. The band will be replaced by Prepared Like A Bride on most dates. Destroy All Lines have issued the following statement:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Like Moths to Flames have had to withdraw from the Boys Of Summer tour with Blessthefall and The Color Morale.
With the tour starting next Wed, Jan 8, Destroy All Lines are pleased to announce Gold Coast progressive metalcore outfit Prepared Like A Bride will be joining the tour for all shows other than Sat Jan 11 at The Bald Faced Stag in Sydney and the two Perth shows.”
