Suicide Silence have released details regarding their new album “You Can’t Stop Me” which will be released on July 15. The album will feature guest appearances from Cannibal Corpse vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher and The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato.
The album will also have a special edition version released including a bonus b-side, a Hatebreed cover and a 135 minute documentary detailing studio time and touring.

The Dillinger Escape Plan have revealed a new track titled “Happiness Is A Smile”. The band released the following statement regarding the track :
“So we wrote a song. Rather than wait for a new album, and try to figure out how to make it make sense as part of a group of other songs that would be written later, we recorded it instantly, so it could be captured as it’s own statement. We pressed it on a limited edition 7″ vinyl, in a quantity of 500 (never to be pressed again), and have it available on this current tour. It’s called “Happiness Is A Smile”. We’ve been playing it every night. Here it is.
We haven’t said this, but we’ve been filming every show, for something to be released in the future. Come out and be a part….”
Killer Be Killed, the super group featuring Soulfly‘s Max Cavalera, Mastodon‘s Troy Sanders, The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s Greg Puciato and former The Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch, have released two new tracks titled “Wings Of Feather And Wax” and “Face Down”.
The songs will be included on the bands début self titled album set for release on May 13. Pre orders found at this location.

The Perth leg of this years Soundwave Festival has been moved from Claremont Showgrounds to Arena Joondalup.
Soundwave mastermind AJ Maddah had the following to say:
“We’re going to Joondalup! So happy. “Finally will be able to hear the band and not have thugs shut down stages!”
VenueWest chairman Graham Partridge had the following to say:
“This event is rapidly becoming one of the biggest and best festivals in Australia. With a line up including Green Day and Placebo as well Australia’s finest live rock act The Living End, the festival may well be a sell out again as it was in 2013.
With Big Day Out and Future Music already at Arena Joondalup the venue is proving itself to be one of the top festival locations in Australia. The addition of Soundwave means more than 100,000 people are expected to attend Arena Joondalup for festivals in 2014. This is great news for both young and old music fans in Perth and particularly for the northern Perth suburbs local economy.”
AJ Maddah has revealed some of the draft timetables for the upcoming Soundwave Festival. The final timetables are set to be released on Wednesday night for Brisbane and Sydney, with the other cities being announced on Friday.
The Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw and Dir En Grey have announced they will be performing two sidewaves later this month. Tickets available from Wednesday February 05 at 9am.

An as yet unnamed new project from Soulfly‘s Max Cavalera, The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s Greg Puciato, Mastodon‘s Troy Sanders and ex-The Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch. The group have begun the recording process for their upcoming debut album. Cavalera said of the group:
“It’s going to be cool, we just don’t have a name yet, the name is a pain in the ass to find a name but the music is great. We have been working on this for two years!
Greg approached me kinda like how Alex [Newport] approached me to do Nailbombin that he was really, really trying to get me to do this project. I told him already I was pretty busy doing Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy [and] I was not really looking for an extra thing, but he was pretty insistent and then I just gave up and was like ‘let’s fucking do this!’
It started with just me and Greg and then we got Dave Elitch – he’s an amazing drummer – and then Greg knew Troy and we asked him to be the bassist so it kind of became a supergroup all of a sudden.
We jammed a couple of times and the last jam we did it sounded killer; the songs are really powerful real heavy. It’s hard to describe but I think the coolest thing about this project is that all three of us are going to sing on every song.”
