Oracles (Aborted, etc.) have released their new track “Quandaries Obsolete” from their debut album “Miserycorde” which is set for release on July 01 through Deadlight Entertainment.
The song features a guest turn from ex-The Black Dahlia Murder guitarist Ryan Knight.
The Black Dahlia Murder have released a new animated video for their track “Threat Level No. 3”, which was written, directed and animated by Adam Avilla.
Frontman Trevor Strnad mentioned:
“Adam has done an amazing job of bringing the fiendish character behind ‘Threat Level No. 3‘ to life in all his despicable glory. This is by far the best video we’ve ever brought forth and the best part of all…You don’t have to look at our ugly faces once!”
Fleshgod Apocalypse have released the cover art for their upcoming album “King” which is currently set for release in early 2016 through Nuclear Blast. The artwork was done by Eliran Kantor (Hatebreed, Testament).
The band offered the following statement:
“This work of art is nothing more than the picture of an old world coming to an end.The author, Eliran Kantor, perfectly interpreted the concept behind the album. The King represents the last stand of integrity and justice in a court infested by traitors, villains, perverts, parasites and prostitutes. In an era that looks more like the Middle Ages than the 21st Century, we felt the necessity to express our indignation for the constant loss of values and our despise for mediocrity and commercial use of superstitions.
The question is, are we sure everything that is ‘new’ is right? Are we sure we are not losing the perception of what is the real value of things? Perhaps the essence of that King lies inside everyone of us but it’s just dimmed by the mist of deceit and (ir)rational superfluity. Perhaps we should all hail the King we have inside.”
Bleeding Through frontman Brandan Schieppati has returned with his new band The Iron Son.
Mick Kenney of Anaal Nathrakh helped him with the band while Shannon Lucas (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder/All That Remains) took on the studio drumming.
The first track from the band titled “Unleash Hell” can be found below which features a guest appearance from Motionless In White singer Chris Motionless.
The debut album from The Iron Son titled “Enemy” is to be released soon via Pvre Evil Records.
Schieppati said of the project:
“I’m proud to finally be making the announcement of my new band The Iron Son. You can take a listen to the song “Unleash Hell” from the up coming record “Enemy” atwww.PVREEVIL.com!! This song features Chris from Motionless In White on guest vocals and Shannon Lucas on drums. After a short layoff from the music industry I decided to work on this band with friend and producer Mick Kenney to create this music.
This band is a solo band but I will be having a solid line up that will play shows with me. This is a total DIY project. Although I received a bunch of record label offers for this project I decided to self fund the band as well as being a part owner in the record label @pvreevilrecords along with @ctothejray this music is for you and I. Not for people that just see it as $$$. I put my heart in to this and the lyrics are straight to the point. It is a reflection on the darkest years of my life and recovery from addiction and mental illness.
Pre order for the CD and 12 inch LP will be available November 13th. With a digital release shortly after. I really hope you enjoy and if you don’t oh well.”
The Black Dahlia Murder are streaming their upcoming new album “Abysmal” in it’s entirety ahead of it’s release on September 18 through Metal Blade Records.
Band frontman Trevor Strnad had the following to say of the album:
“It’s more urgent, it has more dynamics, it’s a more emotive record, and it has a more raw, angry sound to it. It’s still million mile-per-hour death metal, but when you invest so much thought and emotion into what you’re creating you end up with a record that does stand out, and we can hold our heads up high and say yeah, this is our best work.”
The Black Dahlia Murder have released a new track titled “Receipt”.
The song is included on the bands upcoming album “Abysmal” which will see a release on September 18 through Metal Blade.
Band frontman Trevor Strnad had the following to say regarding the track:
“The song, ‘Receipt,’ is a very personal and emotional one for me. I wrote the lyrics in my darkest hour, when anxiety had bested me and self loathing had come to an ultimate head. I was alone. I felt like I couldn’t create anything, and I was about to lose all that in life that I hold dear to me to failure. The song was a cathartic release and I hope it can be some kind of help to someone out there who feels the same darkness. I truly love the song and I feel like its one of the best this band has ever written, and I thank you all for listening.”
