Aversions Crown have released their new track titled “Parasites”.
After 15 years, Evergreen Terrace founding member Andrew Carey has revealed he has exited the band.
Carey offered the following statement:
“I quit Evergreen Terrace. As Danny Glover would often say in the hit movies from the 90’s, Lethal Weapon 1, 2, and 3, ‘I’m getting too old for this shit.’ Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the years.”
The band have also released this short statement:
“As many of you know, Andrew hasn’t been performing with ET for quite a while in order to focus on a career in nursing. Today he is officially leaving the band after 15 years of killing it. Wish him well!”
Ghost have released their new track titled “Cirice”.
The track comes from the bands recently announced new album “Meliora” which will be released on gust 21 through Loma Vista.
Lamb of God have revealed that their recently announced new album “VII: Sturm Und Drang” will be released on July 24.
Drummer Chris Adler had the following to say:
“Lots going on around here these days! I’ve returned from a killer session with Megadethand am straight back to work with Lamb of God. Today we are working on a music video to accompany the new record and gearing up to leave next week for our European run. Feeling very lucky to have so many amazing opportunities. There are lots of shows coming up and of course, the album release is right around the corner now. I feel very confident in the record – it’s sincere and it’s mean.
More will be revealed soon but I can tell you that I’m currently working very hard trying to figure out how to be in 2 places at the same time. Anyone that’s been paying attention can follow that…
Stay metal! ~Chris“
Thy Art Is Murder have released a new track and video titled “Light Bearer”.
The song comes from the upcoming album “Holy War” which is set for release on June 26.
Guitarist Andy Marsh mentioned the following:
“For the last few years since the ‘Reign of Darkness’ video came out, the only thing we’ve all been obsessed with was having fire in our next clip. With a title like ‘Light Bearer’, it all came together thematically and our friends at Ambitious Films understood our vision and helped make it a reality. We are so excited to bring you guys new music and a new video. Rejoice, the day of Satan and man is upon us.”
Make Them Suffer have released a new video for their title track “Old Souls”.
You can check out the new clip below, which seems to lead into the story told in the clip for ‘Let Me In‘. This new video focuses on a couple separated by war, the husband/boyfriend going off to fight in said war, only to return with a form of PTSD and thus begin his downward spiral into alcoholism, which leads to his eventual suicide. The clip also features the dark-robed figure from the ‘Blood Moon‘ music video, which is believed to signify Death. Or maybe this has nothing to do with the other singles, and that was all wrong and far-fetched, who knows.
Animals As Leaders have released a new video for their track “Physical Education”.

The artwork for “Genexus” was done by Anthony Clarkson, with drums tracked by Mike Heller, except for one unidentified song that features guest drumming from Deen Castronovo of Journey.
Frontman Burton C. Bell said of the album:
“The word genexus is a hybrid of two words; genesis and nexus. This word describes the next transition in human evolution as man moves forward to a ‘mechanical’ state of being. Ray Kurzweil predicts that the singularity will occur around 2045. Genexus is the term for that next evolutionary process. Where humans are machines, machines are human, and the differences are oblivious to the naked eye.
This album is a record of thought patterns, psychology and struggles of the Genexus generation. The cognitive machine has arrived, and it wants autonomy from the industry that created it. This machine struggles, like every other human has throughout the course of history. This is the story of every one of us.”
