iwrestledabearonce Announce Album Details

iwrestledabearonce have revealed they will be releasing their new studio album “Late For Nothing” on August 06. The album will be the bands first album with their current singer, Courtney LaPlante.

The band’s guitarist Steven Bradley has had the following to say:

“The entire album came together as a result of us wanting to do something different. We didn’t want to make another weird IWABO album or whatever people were expecting. We set out to make something different and better than anything we’ve ever released. It’s a more evolved version of the band. We explored new styles and genres as well—especially in terms of the more spacey, epic, and beautiful parts. It’s got the most melodic moments of our career as well as the heaviest.”

iwrestledabearonce have announced that they have finished up the recording sessions for their upcoming release. No more details regarding the effort have been announced as yet.

iwrestledabearonce Release Limited Edition Shirt

iwrestledabearonce have released a limited run of shirts in support of GLAAD. The bands guitarist Stephen Bradley had the following to say regarding the shirts:

“Our band has one simple message to spread – keep an open mind and be accepting of people and ideas which might seem different to you. In keeping with that message, we are very happy to announce this exclusive shirt design with 100% of the profits being donated directly to GLAAD. We feel that everyone out there has the right to be happy, and that you should not be discriminated against because of your sexuality.

We’d also love to remind people that just because you’re heterosexual, it doesn’t mean that you should ignore the issue of LGBT rights. Human history is riddled with examples of extreme prejudice against people and ideas that others simply do not understand, and we’re passionate about spreading the message that just because you don’t agree with or understand somebody, that doesn’t immediately, make them wrong.

Homophobia belongs on the same list as other vile concepts like racism and sexism, and we need to do all we can to eradicate them from our world.”

iwrestledabearonce To Record New Ablum

iwrestledabearonce have announced through their Facebook that they are beginning the recording process for their new album. The band looks to be recording the effort with new vocalist Courtney LaPlante who replaced original vocalist Krysta Cameron following her departure from the group due to her pregnancy.
