Birds Of Tokyo will be touring in November in full acoustic mode. Two years in the making, the band have rearranged their music for “The Broken Strings” tour. The tour will see the band accompanied onstage by a grand pianist and string quartet. It will be hosted in seated theatres Australia-wide, with the band playing a host of instruments from ukeleles to 12-string acoustic guitars. The Broken Strings tour will also be filmed for a 2010 DVD release.
